New Customer Service Manager for WeatherBank
New Marketing Manager, Administrative Manager Also Named

EDMOND, Okla., July 18, 2000—Edmond-based WeatherBank Inc. promoted recent University of Central Oklahoma graduate Chantel Wolff to Customer Service Manager.

Wolff worked part-time as a customer service representative and marketing assistant at WeatherBank while attending UCO.

Upon her graduation in December, Wolff moved to full-time status with the company and was promoted to the management position last week.

“Chantel [Wolff] has always been an excellent asset to our customer service department,” said WeatherBank Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Michael R. Root. “It’s an obvious choice to have her spearhead the growth of WeatherBank’s client services.”

Wolff will be responsible for maintaining WeatherBank’s internal client databases and customer support manuals as well as writing user guides and monitoring quality control.

“It’s a challenging position, but I’m looking forward to our continued growth and grateful for the opportunity to lead it,” Wolff said.

In other company news, WeatherBank moved current UCO student Kimberly Haws to the position of marketing manager, Root said.

Haws is responsible for writing and directing the company’s print and online marketing initiatives, Root said.

In addition, the company announced Edmond resident Cathy Freeman was promoted to Administrative Manager last week.

Freeman will be responsible for developing the company’s human resources department and other administrative projects, Root said.
